Travelling while pregnant (and the art of the babymoon)
The sweet spot for travel is the second trimester, roughly weeks 14โ27: sickness has usually faded, energy is back, the bump is manageable, and complication risks are at their lowest. If a babymoon is calling, book it here.
Flying is safe in uncomplicated pregnancies, but airlines have cut-offs โ most stop accepting single-pregnancy travellers between 32 and 36 weeks, and many ask for a fit-to-fly letter from 28 weeks. Check your specific airline before booking, not at the gate.
